The MUENCH TTE-1 is a complete new E-Bike with a space frame made out of steel and aluminium. Because of the battery weight the suspension producer “Öhlins” had to especially modify the front and rear for the TTE-1. The brakes were fabricated by “Brembo”, the world’s most famous supplier for racing brakes which has been supplying racing bikes of all racing series and categories since 1975. Thanks to the three-phase motor of a well- known engine manufacturer the MUENCH TTE-1 achieves 75 kW (in nominal condition and 90 kW as a maximum) at about 70 Nm torque. As a consequence the motor bike consistently achieves maximum speed on the race track.
Due to weight balance (52% front and 48% rear) MÜNCH guarantees a precise handling. Additionally the bike is equipped with a consummate frame which allows the electric engine to be perfectly integrated into the construction of the TTE-1. Thanks to the battery boxes’ tight design the covering is very slim which allows the bike to achieve top performance and an optimized inclined position.
To protect the drivers and their bikes the international rules of procedure require several protective measurements. Locking features assure that batteries disconnect in case of overstress. In case of emergency it is possible to turn off the engine at the push of a button and therefore, to discharge the condenser within five seconds. To ensure easy access to safety measurements the engineers equipped the motor bike with two emergency buttons, one placed in front of the driver and one behind the driver in range of technicians and racing supervisors.
