Using these words Thomas Petsch announced the future cooperation with SCHOTT Solar AG on March 17th, 2010. SCHOTT will be the new premium sponsor for the MUENCH racing team. The 2-year contract validates the close cooperation in projects, joint public appearances as well as financial support.

SCHOTT Solar is designated to use the sun’s inexhaustible potential to generate power as a renewable resource. Therefore, the company produces photovoltaic modules and receivers for solar power plants that use parabolic trough technology. The main question for the future that needs to be addressed is whether or not we’ll be able to find a realizable approach to combining an environment friendly way of life with mobility. For SCHOTT, the combination of solar energy and e-mobility is the right way to guarantee the prospective use and consumption of renewable energies.
