You have to concede it to our main opponent eCRP Racing: With their Californian Shelina Moreda they did not only place an eye candy but a very good racing driver into the starting field. The global racing association FIM honours female drivers such as Shelina with a special film-series, called “Women Ride”. In line with this production the following great video was created. It shows Shelina Moreda, the first woman to compete in the FIM e-Power International Championship.
MUENCH Racing team is already looking forward to the upcoming duels in the 2012 season.

2012- Let’s get it on!
Dear fans, friends, sponsors and supporters,
After havin accomplished great things in 2011 we aimed high for this year: For us, first priority is the title defence in both racing series, the FIM and TTXGP.
Needless to say we will also further improve our TTE. With our “MUENCH Production Racer” for example, we are taking a big stip in the right direction for racing sport future: Interested teams can lease the Production Racer and compete with the TTE2 world championship technology during the upcoming racing season.
Due to the increased number of participants who are in possession of a competitive technology the races will be more suspensful and hence, more interesting for fans and audience. The increased media attention supports the teams with their courting for new sponsors and additionally e-mobility and the e-powered racing sport will experience a significant promotion/encouragement. After all our partner teams’ experiences with the Production Racer will help us to constantly improve the TTE itself, as well as safety and quality. This also means that component suppliers such as engine or battery manufacturer have to intensify their research in order to be able to succesfully be a part of this seminal market.
Last but not least we want to get closer with our fans. In order to meet this aim we will participate in more public events.
These are the next dates:
03rd- 05th February,2012 Motorradtage Leipzig
01st-04th March, 2012 Motorratdtage Dortmund
More dates will follow.
To provide you with a 2012 foretaste we have put together a media-based review. From now on you can read all past and current media coverage in our “Press & Video” section on our homepage.
Visiting the Wurzburg Wenzelsaal
“Even though e-bike racing sport still needs to develop, the MUENCH Racing team from Wurzburg already leaves their clear mark all over the world.” (Quote: Stadt Würzburg)
The mayor of Wurzburg, Georg Rosenthal, honoured the team’s most current triumphs during a reception at the Wurzburg town hall. He was really enthused about their outstanding accomplishments. Amongst the invited guests were not only the Petsch family itself, which is from Wurzburg, but also the whole team around its head of development Thomas Schuricht and team driver Matthias Himmelmann. Rosenthal is very proud of this successful company: “They carry our city’s name into the world and link it to a field which is very seminal for both, economy and environment.”
MUENCH and its Production Racer at Essen Motor Show
As team MUENCH with driver Matthias Himmelmann announced at the current proceeding Essen Motor Show, the e-bike world champion MUENCH is going to offer a so called “Production Racer” for the in April 2012 starting upcoming racing season. Therewith, the technological leader pursues three objectives: Encouraging the e-bike racing sport, supporting other teams that want to save development costs and finally the collection of additional data concerning engine, battery as well as road performance.
The team will customise the bike’s build and contract according to the client’s needs. Maintenance and Service, both on and off the racing track however, are always a part of the agreement. These continuous inspections conduce to the driver’s and bike‘s safety. The propulsion technology will be protected and sealed with leads. Due to the lack of contracts only a few examples have already been manufactured. The interest for this new development however is great.
The e-bike is going to be equipped with the latest technology. Hence, the Production Racer is not only as good as last season’s winning bike, but can be seen as an improvement of the TTE-2. Just like public opinion MUENCH also believes that ccompetition activates and vivifies the business.
Interested teams or people can contact Matthias Himmelmann directly via himmelmann@muench-racing.com. In addition to the bike’s let he will offer practice sessions on how to handle the bike. MUENCH – German e-bike pioneer
After having won both, the FIM and TTXGP racing series two TV teams came to visit us. We are more than happy to be able to provide the video material for all of our fans in case you unfortunately weren’t able to see the live broadcasts on Sat.1 or Hessischer Runfunk.
The first video was produced by Sat.1 and broadcasted during their 5.30 pm newscast. The second one was made only a day later. The team from Hessenschau (Hessischer Rundfunk) produced a four minute long report.
We would like to thank the friendly TV teams!
And we hope all of our fans enjoy watching the material!
