Get charged by MUENCHWhat do a traditional motorcycle brand and an energy-drink have in common? They both arrange for energy. Motorcycle manufacturer MUENCH successfully imparts regenerative energy onto the asphalt. If you do not think that this is possible, then you get the chance to see for yourself at the MUENCH Racing GmbH booth at the motorbike fair “Motorräder Dortmund” from March 1st till March 4th, 2012.

Similar to the Motorrad Messe Leipzig, MEUNCH will show its visitors, that the e-powered successor of the legendary MUENCH Mammut 4 TTS is as powerful as Friedel Muench’s Big Bike itself. They already proved how magnificent the bike is when they repeatedly won the e-racing series TTXGP for two years in a row and dominated the FIM e-Power International Championship.

If you decide to attend the fair, make sure to not pass up on the golden opportunity to meet a World Champion face to face.

The MUENCH Racing GmbH will be presenting the MUENCH 4TTS, the MUENCH Mammut 2000 and the MUENCH TTE 2 in hall 3, booth 329 from March 1st till March 4th, 2012 from 9am till 6 pm (on Friday, March 2nd, 2012 from 9am till 7 pm).

Along with 267 further exhibitors we participated in the Motorrad Messe Leipzig last weekend and presented our MUENCH Mammut 2000 as well as our World Championship bike, the TTE-2.

“Many people only recognise the brand because of its legendary company history. The fact that we now run our bikes on e-power does create confusion now and then,” said MUENCH team spokesmen Ralf Ernst about the exhibition and the balancing act between old and new MUENCH history.

Nevertheless, we could convince the majority with our e-MUENCH. “It doesn’t matter if you look at it now or back then. Due to its unique and striking concept, MUENCH is unmistakable. Something similar does not exist,” enthuses visitor Andreas Schmidt who wanted to catch up on new developments and surprisingly found himself face to face with the old traditional brand MUENCH. “As well as the Mammut 2000 the TTE is an eye-candy and sustains the MUENCH firm legacy,” accounts Ralf Ernst for the brisk interest in the new e-powered racing motorcycle.

The fact that we let our so called Production Racer to interested teams to compete in international racing series such as the FIM and TTXGP attracted great attention. Many visitors left our booth with new realisations. MUENCH has become a brand that in line with power, design and driving pleasure nowadays mainly stands for sustainable development and environment friendly technology.

You can find more information in the interview that Ralf Ernst gave to the colleagues from bikersprofi.

Starting tomorrow you can meet us at the Motorrad Messe Leipzig: In hall 5, booth 5041, Friday till Sunday from 9am til 6pm, you can take the chance and experience us, the team and the next generation motorcycles, the MUENCH TTE e-bikes at close range.

A day pass costs 12 € (10 € for discounted tickets). A three day ticket costs 20 €. Children and adolescents (under 16) are free of admission!

We are looking forward to meeting you!

The TTXGP, international e-bike racing host, celebrates its 1000-day long existence. In order to celebrate the occasion the association just released the following video clip. It represents both, a review of the past as well as a preview of what the future has in store and it definitely affects the fan’s anxiousness for the next season to finally start. The entire team MUENCH congratulates the TTXGP on their jubilee.

Starting today, the TTXGP, race organiser for emission free e-bikes, will host their eGrandPrix in close cooperation with the UEM (European Motorcycle Union). The decision was announced by TTXGP officials earlier today. The UEM represents the FIM’s European branch. The FIM itself with their FIM e-Power International Championship offers a platform for innovative electrical engines as well.

What once was developed within a partnership will now be conjointly organised again: In 2009, the FIM and TTXPG collectively developed a concept for an e-bike racing series. Eventually, both associations decided to operate separately however. As a result teams and fans were able to rejoice in two suspenseful racing series since 2010.

TTXGP founder and chief executive, Ashar Hussain, says about the new partnership with the UEM: “we very enthusiastic to welcome such a fantastic partner in the UEM to sanction our European championship; working with such respected motorsport body as well as honoured professionals will aid TTXGP to grow and thrive and we are very much looking forward to an exciting year of racing.”

Both organisers will now start to focus on the 2012 eGrandPrix racing dates. The racing course in Assen however, is a mandatory stop in the upcoming racing calendar. They already signed a three year contract with the TTXGP.
